I’m ecstatic to report that Anne Taintor loves me. She’s my new favorite reader!!!
I mean, I love y’all and everything…. but Anne Taintor?? Come on, now!!!
I adore her work. You know this, because I’ve mentioned her once or 27 times. But today…. today I adore her as a person, ’cause you know, we’re like sisters and all now.
I decided to give Anne a little ring yesterday, to ask if I could increase the world’s Anne Taintor awareness post her work legally.
When I talked to her people, (because when you’re as big as Anne Taintor, you have people), they said they’d like for me to sign a licensing agreement before I posted.
Are you even kidding me?? Well, okaaaaaay, if you’re sure about that, Anne Taintor’s people. I mean, I was prepared to give them my first-born child, so when all they asked for was my lousy signature, I could barely keep from wetting my pants contain my enthusiasm.
I kept it together for the remaining 15 seconds of our call, (the restraint, people) but I was desperate to hang up before they could change their minds!!!
And. Then. I. Did. A. Happy. Happy. Dance.
And waited for the licensing agreement.
Because, y’all, I don’t give a flip about the credit or the money – I just LOVE. HER. WORK.
Anne Taintor probably read my blog and loved me right back I must be living right, because today I got an email from her people, stating, (and I quote):
“Anne doesn’t feel we even need to have a licensing agreement with you as long as you do credit us for the designs that you use. She is thrilled to have the exposure and she loves when people link to our website. She also loves to hear from her fans – so thanks!”
Um…. thanks? Did you hear that?
Anne Taintor’s people. Thanked. Me.

I will be proudly posting Anne Taintor’s work (which have I mentioned, I so adore?) while crediting her for her brilliant mind and talent. (And not making a dime in the process. Because, y’all, Anne loves me. And that’s payment, enough!)
I am thrilled to represent Anne Taintor and bring her exposure. Maybe one day she’ll even come to think of me as one of her people. Because they are pretty cool too! (Hannah – Mwah! Many, many thanks!)
So do me a favor, dear readers? Go visit Anne for me? And tell her Soliloquy sent you, mkay?

I love it! I knew that there was a benefit to blogging – look at all the things I get to learn.
I love her work. I found a bunch of things that I may have to buy for myself (or for a friend).
And this is where Groovy says, in all sincereity, “Who the heck is Anne Taintor?”
