We ate at Carrabba’s tonight – my all time favorite restaurant. Makes me so happy to eat there.
The kids gave me gift cards to iTunes (rock on!), Aveda perfume and an Aveda gift card (my favorite) and a gift card to the Buckle (for new skinny jeans).
And then it was time for hubby to prove himself give me his gift.
And my man? Well, I hate to upset anyone, but he’s so damn good.

53. My favorite memory: The night I surprised hubby with tickets to John Mayer at Chastain Park in Atlanta. A good, good night. I maybe have never seen him so happy. (Major life events excluded.)

#3 – John Mayer’s new single burned on a CD
#4 – TICKETS to John Mayer OUTSIDE OCEAN FRONT 16th ROW!!!
#5 – Broadway tickets for Mamma Mia!
#6 – Studio tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman
#7 – A Picture of Vanity and her hubby, Flyboy, who are coming to take care of the kids while we’re gone
Are you kidding me?! I’m almost speechless.
But I did say almost.
My man never ceases to amaze me. I am SO thrilled and surprised by such an awesome gift that it totally makes up for the the fact that……….
I got NOTHING from my Get In Her Head list. (snort)
My man was right. He don’t need no stinking list.

The irony about the list/computer program, i.e. “Get In Her Head,” was that it served was to motivate me that I could do WITHOUT the list/computer program.
Is Soliloquy really being celebrated if I’m simply shopping off her list? Isn’t that kind of like running errands? Since when is running errands “Getting In Her Head?”
The beauty of it all…I was “In Her Head” and she didn’t even know it.
So, for those of you who think the “Get In Her Head” computer program is a good thing…that’s fine. I hope it is. For me, it wasn’t really “Getting in Soliloquy’s Head.” It looked like a short-cut, and when I take short-cuts, I usually get lost. Right, S? And, getting lost is never good…for either of us.
I merely took the most reliable route to my intended destination.
