Laundry. It is my Everest. The mountain I can only wish one day to summit…

I hear ya on this one. I get distracted constantly while doing laundry, which inevitably makes more work because the load that I left in the washer for two days has to be rewashed so it doesn’t smell like ick.

But, kudos to Spin and his offer to handle it all. I’d be all over that offer!

Wow.. so purty looking you would die if I showed you what ours looks like. Although there is like 12 and we are never caught up. besides i’ve been lazy and left all my clean stuff on my bed.(I’m housesitting so I don’t have to do anything with it Till Saturday)

Your laundry room looks just like mine, never ending. I do have to admit that last week Hubs left work early and came home and did all 7 loads of laundry. Washed, dried, folded, and put away. Gentle Art of Ruling Your Husband…. phhht! I could have written the manual, girls….

Did you see how I did that? All I really did was move the dry clothes to the laundry basket, and the wet clothes to the dryer.

Then I took a bunch of pictures and blogged it. Voila! Multi-tasking!

Oh, I kid.

On a serious note, I DO know how fortunate I am – but it’s great to be reminded. Sometimes I tend to take my “normal” for granted.

All that said, even if I didn’t honestly and truly SUCK at laundry, Spin would probably do it anyway. His father does all the household laundry – and it was just the way he was raised.

So, here’s a collective toast to the in-laws…. and if you ever want to be a blessing to your future daughters-in-law (and who of us won’t need the extra brownie points?) start training your BOYS now to do the laundry!

Okay, just my 2 cents here, but after reading Spin’s comment and seeing your birthday present and now finding out that he does the laundry…let’s just say he’s a keeper. M’kay?

Not that my guy is anything to shake a stick at. He’s pretty amazing too. Of course, if he did laundry, well, the Earth might go spinning off of its axis or something.

doing the laundry isn’t what i hate. i hate folding them and putting them away. ever since baby #2 came, i now sometimes send hubby to work in wrinkly polos…
