Remember way back in March when I bought Jonas Brothers tickets for my Nina? Well, tonight’s the night
And from the comfort of my quiet house, I’m not ashamed to tell you that I am not as awesome a mom as That Girl, who took her kids to the same concert a few weeks ago in CA.
But I’m smarter. I sent Spin.
Actually, after we bought tickets Spin got an offer from a friend for BETTER tickets and Meet and Greet passes. HELLO!
I listed my four extra tickets last week on eBay. I paid around $300 for the four of them. Anyone want to guess what the closing bid was on Saturday night?
$990.
Not even kidding. Can you believe it???
(And yes- I’ll be reporting it as income.)
I felt guilty for about a minute until I realized that now I can justify paying the upcharge for decent seats to Wicked on Broadway in November.
So Spin took Nina, her friend, and Stink to the concert tonight. And YES – they met the Jonas Brothers – for about 10 seconds.
For now, I am chillin’ – BLOGGING – and counting down the hours to Friday morning.

Obviously, you are an awesome mom, because you married a man with connections! I’m just glad my daughter has no interest in the Jonas brothers (or any other brothers for that matter).

We went to see The Jonas Brothers earlier this year. The best thing was that the tickets were FREE, on the floor, close to the stage, and we also met and took pictures with them for maybe 6 seconds, not 10. My oldest daughter actually cried after we walked out of the meet and greet. Is that crazy or what?
Anyway, my good friend was at CFNI with their parents, who were the worship leaders there. So, she spent a lot of time talking with them, while we were rushed out by security.
I’ve never heard that many screaming girls in all my life.

Sam’s birthday is Monday. I asked her what she wanted. She told me she wanted to meet the Jonas Brothers.
Needless to say, I’m not telling her Nina got to meet them, even if it was for only 10 seconds.
I think you should photoshop yourself into the Jonas Bros. picture and put it in your Christmas cards. Then it’s a win-win.
