the whole spring-ahead thing combined with my avoidance of sleep despite my exhaustion resulted in two nights where i saw pitch black 7 AM come around. yikes.

Daylight Savings has completely kicked me in the butt! I don’t remember it being like this when I was a kid. Oh wait I didn’t have a job or kids to get up for school then either so I could just sleep till it was daylight and never know the difference!
SO! TRUE! WHY do we still have daylight savings?? It’s not like we’re all farmers needing to get up with the cows or something. Especially here in Oregon, when it stays light until 10 now — it’s just unnatural!!
