(A guest post from Shauna)
There are only 5 tedious drawn-out days until I will find myself sipping on
a margarita by the beach with my dear friend Soliloquy (oh yeah, and our
husbands). I cannot wait.
From the day that I “met” my dear friend on the internet, it has been
Soliloquy this and Soliloquy that. My husband responded to this initial
obsession friendship in utter irritation. “Solilo-que who?,” he would say.
I would go on to explain that it isn’t her REAL name… **By the way – this
not one of the favored responses in explaining your new online BFF**
Well, we have come to a pivotal point in our relationship. Vacation &
Introducing the Husbands. We are well aware that the husbands MUST become
best friends for this relationship to progress as planned. (You, dear
readers, may not have been informed that Soliloquy and I will be opening our
very own piano bar/coffee shop in the near future. Marcy, you may want to
start working Ed up to this idea too.)
It is shocking that I am still allowed to come on this trip as I have not
gotten my beloved tat yet. There has been a bit of a budget restraint (OR
my husband wants to meet the girl I am getting a matching tattoo with first
- not sure which one it is).
Kip and I are getting so excited about our vacation – with 3 kids at home -
we need some time alone (or not really alone at all)! In our daily vacation
conversation today, my husband got this look on his face. Paused. And
said: “This is all about You and Soliloquy, isn’t it.”
Uh.
Uh.
Maybe. No. Well, maybe a little. No.
I am really glad you are coming too, though…

I can only imagine. My husband often has to hear tales that start with, “So Soliloquy…” or “I was reading this blog and…”
I’m sort of afraid he’s going to stage an intervention.

Yeah, Sarah – the intervention could be on its way!!!
Oh, and Soliloquy – could you fix the end of my post – it has some weird ……..
Thanks!
