I am taking notes here. Lots and lots of notes. And your pray spontaneously with them comment got me thinking… I remember the first time the Tongginator truly “got” prayer. I sat with her and asked God to help her pee on the potty instead of… well… you get it.

First loved what Spin said about them. Second, are you sure you didn’t interview my kids? Those answers sound just like something they would say. Third, I took the plastic wrap of the Shred video and got tired! Will start Monday, PROMISE. And I will let you know, provided I can still type after. Have a great weekend.

Seriously, the advice from your kids and you is right on target. I especially agree with apologizing to your kids when needed.

Very good advice. With my kids I find that they appreciate if I explain why I’m not letting them do something. There are times when “I told you to” does work, but for most things I explain.
