Oh, wipe that silly, confused look off your face already. It’s a game, y’all!
I’m playing along for the first time with MamaKat today. Link on over for more morbid fun.
45 words is going to be a challenge for this self-absorbed verbose blogger, but I will try. (No promises. There might be more I Just Have To Say.)
The rule I flat out won’t follow, because it’s my blog afterall, is to assume I will die at age 100.
I plan to go a LOT sooner than that. I’ve got Glory to look forward to, afterall.
So what would I say in 45 words if I knew my time was near??
Soliloquy – Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend, Fat Girl trapped in a Skinny Girl’s body, and Delighted 34D. Possessing a Soul deeper than wide, she cared most about Truth, Grace, and Following Jesus, and was therefore understood by precious few. Soliloquy was over the moon in love with her husband, Spin, and was well-loved in return. She gave all she had to her children, Stink and Nina, but worried still that it wasn’t enough. Her utmost desire was to live a whole life that was one long, obedient response. All too aware of her shortcomings, she was fully dependent on Christ as her Righteousness, was finally content in His Identity and is seated next to her Savior enjoying a glass of wine. Or three.
Worship to rock the House and cocktails TBD. Invite only.
45 words. Or 132. I told y’all I was verbose Deeper than Wide. Besides, 132 has a much nicer ring to it.
And really? Am I going to fail the Writer’s Workshop?
I thought not.
Wow. Writing that was hard, but easy. Strangely unsettling, and yet…… not.
What about you? Are you ready for eternity? And what would you write in your own self-obituary if you knew the end was near?
I feel like I still have so far I want to go, but if God chose to take me Home today (and let’s face it, not one of us is guaranteed tomorrow), I think this is something I’d want printed. Seriously.
Well, maybe not the 34D part… but everything else, definitely.
And yes, dear readers, you all would be invited to my Worship and Cocktail Hour.

I love it!
Really hoping God decides you need to hang around here awhile longer to entertain us.

I think it is beautiful! I was oddly touched by it, actually.
Kenny Chesney had a song out recently that said “everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to go now” So true, isn’t it? Death isn’t nearly as scary as leavinng my children motherless.

I love it. And I think you should leave the 34D.
Oh the worship marathon I would plan for my funeral! “Blabbity blah blah, words, words, words. HIT IT, BAND!”

I’d like to point out a couple things:
1. This is far too morbid for me and I refuse to comment on it directly.
2. Should something happen to our beloved Soliloquy in the short-term, I will expect all of her beloved readers to defend me when Dateline NBC shows up to do an investigation on her suspcicious demise. The name of the “exclusive investigation” will be — “Soliloquy’s Cry for Help.” AND, this post will be the key piece of evidence. I can see it now, “Soliloquy was so damaged by her oppressive husband, that she formed an alter-ego on-line AND EVEN WROTE HER OWN OBITUARY. Lock the husband up and throw away the key!”
Freaky internet friends…can we agree to this? Can we all agree that I had nothing to do with it??? We all know that the husband is guilty until proven innocent.
The key to my defense…why on earth would I ever do anything harmful to a 34D???
Spin
Loved it! I am a self absorbed, verbose being myself…
132 has a great ring!!!

Hey there, stopping by from mama kat’s
oh well I guess you can’t always have it all lol.
I can’t believe you are a fat girl trapped in a tiny body, just like me! Of course I wasn’t blessed with the 34D
I also am disappointed that I left my love for wine out of my 45 words…
Roxanes last blog post..Mama Kat’s writing prompt and wii!
May you have enough time here above ground to have the skinny girl trapped within make an extended appearance. And one of the reasons I suggested this prompt is to encourage folks to pursue their dreams so their obit they write today will be an accurate representation of what life held for them.
May all your dreams come true!

Onward, Christian Souja-girl.
Love it. Live, would ya?
I love the humor and sentimentality, all combined. Maybe I should try this. My sarcasm would probably be mistaken for bitterness, though, and then everyone would hate The Man.

You know one of my favorite things about you Solioquy? I love that you are always a witness for Jesus Christ. I just love that. You are unapologetic. Thank you.
And I LAUGHED MY HEAD OFF about Spin’s comment. I think he is SO funny
