Liberated

I am HOME.  I’m so happy to be home, I could CRY.  It’s like my very own Christmas miracle!

So try not to be too shocked, but I had a reaaaaallllly bad attitude about going to the in-laws.  I know, I know.  So unlike me, right?

But it’s true.

I don’t know….. I’m a simple girl.  I require very few things….. wine, wireless, a place to nap. However, none of these things were available to me at the Baptist Convention in-laws.

So, you know, bad attitude.

Do ya’ think?!

I had nothing to fall back on.  No wine, no wireless, no nap, remember?  But I am nothing, if not resourceful.  My saving grace came in the form of smuggled “stocking stuffers” rant-texting – similar to drunk-dialing, except you know, without the drunk part. Because, again, no wine. Keep up.

Marcy texted me back and quite succinctly put it all into perspective. “I know it’s hard.  But consider it a small price to pay for being married to such an awesome guy.”

Well, there’s that.

I also?  Maaaay have scored a girls weekend to Mexico in February to make up for it.  Who’s in??

Spin is a little bit awesome. There is definitely that.
