A Most Clandestine Affair

Have you ever donned a baseball cap late at night, snuck into a swanky hotel and picked up a room key that had been left for you at the front desk?

Two words.

Last. night.

Feeling more than a little naughty conspicuous – despite the hat – I have never been so glad to have the same last name as the man to whom the room was registered. Assuring the front desk that I was “legal” would have detracted from the allure.

I made it through the lobby and to the top floor without encountering any of Spin’s staff – or worse, his boss. And then I snuck out early this morning the same way I came in, no one the wiser.

What can I say? Stealth is my middle name.
